Beat the Heat with these Skincare Tips this Summer

Skincare Tips this Summer

Summer is the season for melons and mangoes. But the heat often has severe effects on the skin. And before you know it, your skin gets dry. It can also get sun burn patches or a harsh tan. And staying indoor at all times is just not an option. So take the right precautions to avoid long term damages.

Here are some tips to help you protect your skin.

Fashion some Hats

A regular cap is not very helpful to block those sun rays. Hats that have a wide brim cover the face effectively. They are the perfect headwear to protect that pretty face.

Keep the Skin Hydrated

Dehydration of the body makes the skin dry or too oily and causes damage. Fill up on those liquids as much as possible. This will keep your skin as well as body hydrated at all times.

Maintain a Water filled Diet

Include fruits and vegetable that have a high water content. Melons, leafy vegetables, cherries, grapes, tomatoes are part of this diet. This will also give a natural glow to your skin.

Frequent Face washes

Use cool water to wash the face at least 4 to 5 times in a day. This will exfoliate and cleanse the skin which should further be locked with a moisturizer.  Frequent Facewashes

Apply and Re-apply

Sun screen lotions are often effective but for a short duration. So make sure to carry one with you and re-apply at regular interval. The frequency often depends on the SPF of the lotion.

De-tan therapy

Pamper yourself with some de-tan treatments. A skin tan tends to settle in the skin and stays there for a long time. Hence, it should be treated at the earliest. This can be taken care of by de-tan facials, manicure, pedicure, de-tan massages, etc. You can try these therapies at www.gomalon.com
